BAE Systems manufactures the Hawk at its East Riding site. The plant, which employs 2300 staff, recently completed a £450m deal with the Ministry of Defence to build 28 Hawk 128 Advanced Jet Trainer aircraft at Brough. The first will be delivered in 2008.
