Food & drink China exhibition package for Yorkshire firms

Regional food and drink companies are being offered the chance to exhibit in China, the country that has become the third largest luxury goods market in the world behind Japan and the United States.

FHC China, taking place in Shanghai from 4-6 December 2008, will be attended by all the major food and drink distributors. It is the largest and longest running food and hospitality exhibition in China, attended by over 17,000 trade visitors.

Supported by UK Trade & Investment and Yorkshire Forward, Food from Britain (FFB) is offering a special exhibitors package for Yorkshire & Humber companies. Funded by the Targeted Export Support Scheme (TESS), the package offers exhibitors:

  • Stand with information desk
  • Access to a shared meeting area
  • Participation for one person in the trade development visit (with option of adding other delegates at an additional cost)
  • Full support of FFB and the regional food & drink sector specialist.

The trade development visit (which coincides with the exhibition) will include:

  • Briefing on the Chinese market by industry experts
  • Visits to key retail outlets
  • Networking dinner
  • Opportunities for one-to-one appointments
